nyxfx is an independent experiment in building creative tools for musicians, producers, and audio developers. It's where I design, build, test, and write about plugins that sit outside the usual lineup of compressors, EQs, and delays.
About the Developer
I'm a software engineer by trade, drawn to the intersection of sound, graphics, and real-time systems. nyxfx is where those interests converge into practical, working tools.
Skip the Frameworks
I don't use JUCE or VSTGUI. nyxfx is built directly on the VST3 API, with future expansion into CLAP. You don't need a heavyweight framework to build powerful audio tools; you just need clarity, good architecture, and an understanding of the underlying systems.
No Gatekeeping
Everything I learn, I document. Everything I build, I explain. So, if you're into C++, audio development, real-time graphics, or plugin architecture, you'll find something to dig into here.
