About NyxFX

NyxFX is an independent experiment in building creative tools for musicians, producers, and audio developers. It's where I design, build, test, and write about plugins that sit outside the usual lineup of compressors, EQs, and delays.

Rather than focusing on traditional studio staples, NyxFX explores tools that blend music, graphics, and real-time computation.

NyxFX is currently a one-person project, developed in public through demos, experiments, and technical write-ups.

About the Developer

I'm a C++ Software Engineer by trade. I've always felt drawn to the realistic limitations of engineering and the no-holds-barred creative sides of life. I want NyxFX to live on the line between sound, visuals, and the low-latency constraints of real-time systems.

I build these plugins and tools as both an engineer and an active musician. If I built it, it's because I want it in my own workflow.

Built on the Raw APIs

NyxFX is developed directly on the Steinberg VST3 SDK (with future expansion into CLAP). I enjoy working close to the underlying systems and building lightweight architectures that remain flexible across platforms and backends.

Document Everything

I try to document and explain what I build as I learn. Writing helps me find gaps in my knowledge, clarify fuzzy concepts, and capture the process for future reference.

So if you're interested in C++, audio development, MIDI, real-time graphics, or plugin architecture, then I hope you'll find something useful here.
